Sae-A Trading is committed to sustainable management by focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving energy efficiency to address climate change.

Through the adoption of high-efficiency equipment and optimization of operations, we are reducing energy consumption and contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
As a key strategy toward carbon neutrality, we are actively transitioning to renewable energy.
This includes installing solar power systems at our production facilities and securing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), allowing us to steadily expand our use of sustainable energy.
To address climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, we have established a company-wide GHG inventory system.
We regularly monitor energy consumption and emissions, and are currently working to expand this system across our supply chain through a phased implementation approach.

Environmental Management
To minimize environmental impact across all stages of production, Sae-A Trading actively promotes a range of environmental management initiatives and is dedicated to creating a more sustainable manufacturing environment.

We utilize the Higg Index Facility Environmental Module (FEM) to quantitatively assess and manage the environmental impact of our own operations as well as key supplier facilities.
This assessment allows us to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate follow-up actions.
Applying optimized technologies to reduce water usage in production processes.
Preventing resource wastage through the use of recycled water and improved wastewater treatment systems.
Promoting sustainable water resource conservation through the 'Water Reduction Project'.

Social
As part of our ESG management efforts, Sae-A Trading is committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities through tailored social contribution activities that support community development and employee well-being.

Social Contribution Framework & Strategy
Sae-A Trading contributes to sustainable community development through locally tailored social contribution activities in areas such as education, infrastructure, and healthcare. Under its global CSR strategy, the headquarters and overseas subsidiaries work in close collaboration to implement these initiatives effectively.

Achieve a cumulative 1,000 volunteer hours by 2025 (91% achieved as of 2024).
Activities are structured around three pillars: Community Engagement & Development, Education & Child Support, and Sharing & Volunteering.
Operate customized CSR programs tailored to each regional office, with a focus on creating long-term, sustainable value.
In collaboration with the Sae-A Foundation, initiatives are carried out in disaster relief, medical aid, and educational support.

Key Social Contribution Initiatives
– Education & Child Support
A 200-hour internship program was offered to 15 local high school students, providing practical job experience and enhancing career understanding. Selected participants are being considered for future employment opportunities.
Established in 2013, Sae-A School offers holistic education from kindergarten through high school. In 2023, the school’s first graduating class achieved a 100% pass rate on the national examination, earning recognition as a leading educational institution in the region.





– Community Engagement & Development
Donated 4,000 tree saplings to the local municipality for the creation of a children’s park. The initiative aims to donate 5,000 saplings annually to support environmental sustainability.
– Sharing & Volunteering
Visited a local orphanage to provide health check-ups and consultations in cooperation with medical professionals. Volunteers also donated school supplies, food, and gifts to foster warm community interaction.
Prepared and distributed 600 lunch boxes to residents of an underserved area in Jakarta. The initiative reflects the spirit of sharing and encourages employee participation.
Provided updated broadcast equipment to improve the learning environment at a local branch school. Employees visited the school in person and committed to ongoing support.
Delivered school supplies such as pencils and notebooks to a local branch school. Employees participated directly in the event, creating meaningful connections with students through shared experiences.

To fulfill our ethical responsibilities, Sae-A Trading operates an ethical management system comprising a Ethics Charter, Code of Conduct, and Implementation Guidelines. This framework helps us strengthen trust with all stakeholders.

Code of Ethics Structure
Declares the company’s commitment to ethical values and behavioral standards. Core principles include integrity, fairness and transparency, mutual prosperity, respect for diversity, and honoring commitments.
Emphasizes fair and responsible relationships with employees, management, customers, partners, and society.
Outlines practical behavioral guidance for daily operations. It prohibits improper conduct and promotes trust with stakeholders.


Ethical Culture Initiatives
Sae-A fosters an ethical culture company-wide through initiatives such as operating an online whistleblowing center, safeguarding whistleblower rights, and running internal ethics campaigns.
Open to all internal and external stakeholders.
Accepts reports on a wide range of concerns including human rights violations, bribery, information leaks, and breaches of environmental, safety, and quality standards.
Whistleblower protection system in place (confidentiality, protection from disadvantage, option for anonymous or named reporting).

A gift return center is operated to promote fairness and raise ethical awareness.
