Sae-A Trading History
Sae-A Trading has grown into a leading fashion and textile company by continuously improving quality, adopting innovative technologies, and strengthening its competitiveness in the global market.
In recent years, we have enhanced manufacturing efficiency through the implementation of smart factories and digital transformation. By establishing production management systems powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, we are realizing more innovative management practices.

Mar - Win Textile achieves full biomass conversion at Indonesia facility
• 2024
Nov - Joined the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
Oct - Signed the FSC Fashion Forever Green Pact.
Oct - Completed the construction of the third spinning factory for Sae-A Spinning.
Jul - Became the first company in the domestic textile and apparel industry to join SBTi.
May - Joined the UN Global Compact (UNGC), the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative.
Jan - Acquired TEGRA, a company specializing in sportswear production.

Dec - Received the Iron Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit on the 60th Trade Day.

Aug - Opened Sae-A Spinning's second spinning factory in Costa Rica.
Jul - Awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Award in International Cooperation.

Jul - Awarded the Corporate Social Responsibility Award in International Cooperation.
• 2020
Sep - Honored at Guatemala’s largest CSR forum for outstanding contributions.
Jun - Received the National Sustainable Management Award, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs Award.
Mar - Established SAE-A DOMINICANA, a garment manufacturing facility in the Dominican Republic.
During the 2010s, Sae-A Trading emphasized sustainable management and social responsibility by adopting eco-friendly production methods and ethical business practices. The company also advanced its technological capabilities and product quality through research and development (R&D).

Mar - Opening ceremony for Sae-A Middle School (S&H Secondary School).
• 2016
Mar - Established and began operations of the Vietnam subsidiary, SAE-A VIETNAM (Office).
• 2015
Jun - Commenced operations at the 4th factory in Haiti.
May - Held the opening ceremony and began operations at the spinning mill in Costa Rica.
• 2014
Jul - Established the Vietnam subsidiary, S&H VINA.
Mar - Opening ceremony for Sae-A School (S&H School).
• 2013
Oct - Established the Vietnam subsidiary, SAE-A VINA.
Sep - Began operations at the 2nd factory in Cambodia.
• 2012
Oct - Started operations at PT. WINTEXTILE in Indonesia.
Oct - Held the completion and opening ceremony for the Haiti factory.
Apr - Obtained LEED certification for the eco-friendly PT. WINTEXTILE in Indonesia.

Dec - Awarded the $1 Billion Export Tower on the 48th Trade Day.
Dec - Recognized as one of Korea's “Top 100 Great Workplaces” by GWP.
• 2010
Dec - Named one of Korea’s “Best Companies to Work For” by Fortune Korea.
Oct - Established WINNERS VINA in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Sep - Signed an MOU with the U.S. Department of State for investment in Haiti.
May - Held the groundbreaking ceremony for WINTEXTILE in Indonesia.
Jan - Expanded the 4th factory in Nicaragua.

Nov - Received the $800 Million Export Tower on Trade Day.
Feb - Began operations at the GLOVIA graphic production facility in Guatemala.
• 2008
Oct - Completed construction of the Kaesong Industrial Complex for IN THE F (formerly NASAN Co., Ltd.).
• 2007
Apr - Acquired IN THE F (formerly NASAN Co., Ltd.) through M&A.
Feb - Launched the domestic fashion brand "TATE".
• 2006
Dec - Commenced operations at PT EINS TREND in Indonesia.
Nov - Received the $500 Million Export Tower on Trade Day.
Nov - Signed an M&A contract to acquire IN THE F (formerly NASAN Co., Ltd.).
Aug - Began operations at EINS VINA CO., LTD in Vietnam.

Nov - Received the $300 Million Export Tower on Trade Day.
• 2004
Aug - Started operations at TECNOTEX S.A. in Nicaragua.
May - Commenced operations at TEXPIA S.A. III in Guatemala.
Feb - Began operations at INTERNATIONAL S.A. III in Guatemala.

Oct - Awarded the Americas Export Excellence Award by the Guatemala subsidiary.
Apr - Established WINNERS S.A. in Guatemala.

Sep - Began operations at TEXPIA S.A. II in Guatemala.

May - Established SAE-A TECNOTEX S.A. in Nicaragua.
Feb - Received the High-Volume Export Award from the Korea Apparel Industry Association.
Jan - Opened the Los Angeles office.
In the 1990s, SAE-A Trading enhanced its competitiveness by establishing advanced manufacturing facilities and implementing robust quality control systems to ensure the consistent production of high-quality products. The company also expanded its collaborations with global brands.

Dec - Established SAE-A TRADING AMERICA CORPORATION in the U.S.
Dec - Received the $70 Million Export Tower on Trade Day.
Oct - Established SAE-A TEXPIA S.A. in Guatemala.
• 1998
Jul - Established SAE-A INTERNATIONAL S.A. in Guatemala.
• 1997
Dec - Awarded the Presidential Citation for Outstanding Export Achievements on Trade Day.
• 1996
Jan - Opened the New York office.
Since its establishment in 1986, SAE-A Trading has actively pursued international expansion, particularly increasing exports to the U.S. and European markets. This marked the beginning of the company’s strengthened presence in the global market.
